Scatologic Traffic Jam Manifesto - Shit Ist Frei

SCATOLOGIC TRAFFIC JAM MANIFESTO

20 August 2015, Cervera de los Montes

I like traffic jams. Last week I was driving from home to Madrid airport and had time to think. My political thought is now speeding fast after gaining liberty by resigning from the Communist Party of Spain.

I still have the same objective, I want a classless world with economic equality, but I disagree with the strategy and the tactics of the mainstream extreme left. I believe in Marx's analysis of history as class struggle but I don't place the faith in the proletariat. My side in the class war must be my own class, the intelligentsia. I don't want a revolution led by plumbers and janitors. I demand hegemony of the intellectuals, dictatorship of poets and philosophers.

Lenin said that the intelligentsia is not the "brain of the nation", it is the "feces of the nation". I guess that if we are excrement, we understand the shitty situation in the world and can fertilize the revolution.

Express Rider - 57 Varieties

EXPRESS RIDER

14 August 2015, Helsinki

I've spent the week in Finland. This has been a different summer, no Finnish vacation. Though I'm here for work, I had luckily enough time to visit yesterday my family's summer cottage by the Lake Päijänne. It was an express summer of less than 24 hours, enough for a good sauna session.

The reason for my trip was once again 57 Varieties, the fragile series of red monochromes, that has been damaged and fixed too many times. Now I think it's finally in the condition to be delivered to the collector who acquired it last spring.

During the intensive week I had also time to meet some friends, collectors, curators and museum directors. Tomorrow I'm going to paint something on the wall of my friends' place. We've talked about it for a long time, but I have still no idea what I'm going to do. I do the mural for free but I sent them my backstage rider including drinks, food, cigarettes and chewing gum. I want to feel like an art star.

Punk Art Museum Is Dead - Gelitin

PUNK ART MUSEUM IS DEAD

06 August 2015, Cervera de los Montes

We drove to Madrid Airport to pick up our kids coming back from their Finnish summer vacation. I suggested my wife to stop at Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo, a public museum situated in Mostoles, a satellite town of Madrid. The venue was inaugurated seven years ago but I had never been there though I pass by often on my way to the capital city. They have an interesting program that could include my works if I were a part of the Spanish art world. Unfortunately, I'm an outsider artist in the country where I live.

The entrance of the museum was crowded - free internet connection - but we were the only people in the exhibition area during the hour one visit on Sunday afternoon. The main exhibition was about traces of punk music and attitude, popular culture flirting with the young audience. My wife said that she doesn't like punk. I said I don't like art. Seriously, I don't enjoy seeing art - I have enough problems with my own art.

The entrance fee of CA2M costs zero euros but I think nobody wants to go to museums even you pay them (excluding Guggenheim Jeff Koons blockbusters). People are stupid or art is irrelevant. Or art is elitist and we just have to accept that.

A smaller exhibition was a kind of photography workshop for the proletariat to fight for their rights documenting their working conditions. They called it a community dark room, a tool for the class struggle in a museum run by Madrid's conservative government. Faking or joking?

We left the museum and drove to Ikea. After art capitalist retail was a much more gratifying experience, more interactive, more real. And the furniture store had more life, more people, than the ghost-like empty museum. I hate capitalism but art is even worse.

What Is The Politics - Anti-politics

WHAT IS THE POLITICS

26 July 2015, Cervera de los Montes

I’m not a politician and I haven’t studied politics. For my very limited theoretical capacity I need to make things simple and I seriously believe that the essence of politics is more uncomplicated than many people believe. Nourishing the idea of complexity is a tool to keep people distant from the political action.

After the grand narratives of the last century ideologies postmodern politics seem to be tactics without strategy and objectives. It is primitive battle without understanding the substance of the human community and the basic principles of the politics. This is an optimal panorama for the ruling entities.

1.OBJECTIVE
Since the classic Greek philosophy it should be clear that the objective of life, both private and public, should be happiness. On the political level it means providing to all the people of the world resources and opportunities to be happy. Aristotle’s concept eudaemonia means happiness, welfare and human flourishing. From my point of view, any other objective is incomprensible. If we don’t agree of the objective, discussion is practically impossible.

2 STRATEGY
Strategy studies what is the best possible society and structure to reach the objective of eudaemonia. This is called ideology. Different ideologies propose different models of eudaemonic world. A dialog between different ideologies is possible when they have their strategies clearly defined.

3. TACTICS
The current political discurse takes place mainly on the third, tactical level. Most of the political actors don’t have the objective clear and haven’t conceived a strategy. Concentrating in the tactics is fighting in the front line without a plan and real understanding what one is fighting for and why. The tactics should be discussed among the people sharing the same ideology and strategy. Forming political opinions and attitudes should begin from the top to the bottom, objective, strategy, tactics.

Note: Aristotle's concept politics refers to affairs of state. I use the same word referring to affairs of world.

My Last Party - The Hammer And Colon

MY LAST PARTY

23 July 2015, Cervera de los Montes

I decided to resign from the Communist Party of Spain. I joined it two years ago because I wanted to make clear that my extreme leftists ideology is not a joke but a serious thing. I wanted to be a card carrying commie.

I was fascinated by the hammer and sickle of PCE but finally I understood that in the party Marxism was more internal rhetorics than real revolutionary attitude. The party seeks to paricipate in administration of capitalist system. I'm imppossibilist and believe that any social and political reforms boost capitalism to maintain its hegemony. I don't negotiate with bankers and terrorists. We are in class war and we must defeat the enemy and not to strengthen it. This is going to be a long war and bullets don't fly faster than history.

Another reason for my decision is that I can't think, speak or work under any authority. I can't toe the party line. I'm good in group work when I'm the leader. My psychological profile was the reason why I was kicked out from the Finnish artillery corps where I was enlisted for the military service. I was a very bad private but I could have been a great field marshal. If I ever join a party again, I need to start from the rank of the general secretary and comrade number one.
