AK-47 is a selective-fire, gas-operated assault rifle, first developed in the USSR by Mikhail Kalashnikov. It is officially known as Avtomat Kalashnikova. More AK-type rifles have been produced than all other assault rifles combined. In Mexico, the AK-47 is known as cuerno de chivo (ram's horn) and is one of the weapons of choice of Mexican drug cartels.

The logo on the background is the insignia of Hezbollah, a Shi'a Muslim militant group and political party based in Lebanon.
