The video was shot on the Moroccan side of the border crossing between Ceuta and Fnideq. Thousands of workers and porters carrying consumer goods on their backs from Spain to Morocco cross the border every day.
Ode to Joy is a poem written by Friedrich Schiller in 1785. Ludwig van Beethoven used the poem in the fourth movement of his Symphony Nr. 9, which is now the anthem of the European Union. Ode to Joy heralds an egalitarian society in which friendship and peace prevail.
