His drawing, in turn, is based on a photograph taken of a Syrian refugee girl on a Lebanese camp by Jonathan Hyams, who works for the organisation Save the Children. Apart from the sexual content, the text has been copied as such from Toshiko’s drawing. Many refugees, including children, earn money through prostitution. Refugees often become victims of rape, too.
