i The drawing, which is based on photographs of newspaper articles, represents the complex fencing systems of Spanish exclaves in Africa that consist of watchtowers, concertina wire, radars, sensors, lights and tear gas sprinklers.

Frontex is the border guard agency of the European Union, and its main task is to prevent migrants and refugees from entering Europe. The motto of Frontex is libertas, securitas, justitia (liberty, security, justice).
